Honor Society Students: Are you looking for some community service hours? Would you like to be of service to your community and have it look good for the all-school reunion this summer? There's lots of trash on school grounds, on roadsides and in town after the winter snow melt. You can get big trash bags from Robert, and after collecting, throw the bags in the school dumpster in the back of the building. Julie Lindegard, who is on the school reunion committee, will sign your service forms.
NHS Members: The Kennedy Donaldson Senior Center is looking for some volunteer help this summer. Meals are served three days a week and assistance is needed in serving and cleanup. The process generally takes about 90 minutes or less. Volunteers may commit to one, some, or all of the days. This is an excellent opportunity to take part in some friendly conversation and a few laughs. This is also a great opportunity for HONOR STUDENTS to get community service hours. Interested in applying? Please contact Esther at 674-4396 or Mary at 674-4142. |
